Patent annuity

According to patent & trademark law of Iran, all or part of annuity fee can be paid for a patent.  The annuity can be paid each year on or before the anniversary date of filing.  A period of six (6) months is allowed for belated payment, however a 100% fine will apply if the payment is made during the second period of three (3) months.  If the annuity is not paid before the expiry of the said period of grace the patent will lapse.
